I managed to cross one of my bucket list
Sep. 8th, 2019 09:36 pmback in 2006, I met this guy from New Zealand. He is a colleague who is also MISE trainee like myself.
I remember his claim to me that in his country, we can surf on the beach and then drive for 2 hours and go skiing. thats how he describe his country
and then few years later comes Lord of The rings Saga where the shooting was done in NZ
i get more and more intrigued with visiting New Zealand
but people always say it is very expensive to go there. Hence I never really checking through the total cost there (yes, I am sometime that stupid)
until one day, I realized that some of my miles expired. and I need to use those before the following months miles also expired. out of the blue I browse few countries to check how many miles it takes to purchase the flight ticket to. And then after 2-3 countries I then tried Christchurch...and boom! my existing miles is sufficient enough to go there and I only need to pay their airport tax which is around USD 90!!!
i checked with my husband, and he said "go! u've been wondering about NZ for a looonng time even before we got married..."
and rest is history.....(which will be continued later once I got the time :p)
